Our Educational proposal

Young Day School as private Institute of Enabled Education complies with the Ordinance Nº14 - Authorization of Private Institutes of Education of the NATIONAL ADMINISTRATION OF PUBLIC EDUCATION - CENTRAL EXECUTIVE COUNSEL.
In which concerns specifically to its condition of Enabled High School complies with the third part of this Ordinance (Arts. 24 to the 36). Consequently dictate courses fulfilling the effective plans and programs for the Official Institutes. Relates to the Secondary Board of Education through the Inspection High Schools for the purposes of his educational administrative operation.
In addition offers a Bilingual Education with the English as the second language.
The study of a second language is an excellent way to accede to a new structuring of the thought, besides approaching us the customs and beliefs of people that live in diverse contexts, inviting us to question the own reality and to know better our world. The English that is taught and that is learned, has the level agreed internationally for bilingual schools. The students have the same amount of school hours in English that in Spanish. This allows to use the second language in diverse communicative situations and not only to acquire grammar rules and to accumulate vocabulary. The students have the possibility to be presented to appropriate international exams at all levels, as a way of measure their advances. The diplomas obtained are useful documents for their future insertion in the labor world. The exams of the Cambridge University are recognized for educational institutions, businesses and governmental agencies. They are reliable and highly impartial tools of evaluation and help the students to acquire major security in his capacity to use the English in successful form. International examinations of the Cambridge University : Preliminary English Test (PET), First Certificate in English (FCE), Certificate in Advanced English (CAE). Physical education - Athletics - Soccer - Hockey The development of the individual capacities, the respect by the rival and the rules, solidarity between companions and the spirit of equipment are some of the values that are in game in this Area of learning.
Regarding to the Education in Values that is taught in Young Day School it works with the Project: “The communication through an education in values to contribute to a peace culture”, by which as of year 2003 we are School associated to UNESCO. An education of quality in practice created in 1953, the Network of the Associates Schools Plan of the UNESCO (redPEA), commonly known as Schools Associates of the UNESCO, is a world network of some 8000 school establishments in 177 countries(parvularias, primary and secondary schools and institutes of superior formation), in which everybody works in favor of an education of quality. In 1983, UNESCO celebrated an international congress in Sofia (Bulgaria) to commemorate the thirtieth anniversary of the Project of the Network of Associate Schools (ASPnet). Compromised to promote the ideals of the UNESCO, these schools do in favor of the international comprehension carrying out pilot projects to prepare the young generations to be faced to the challenges of a world increasingly more complex. In September of 2005, the Network included about 7,800 educational centers from pre-school to educational formation, in 175 countries. The poster was created by the Bulgarian artist Deichko Uzunov.

Physical education — Athletics — Soccer — Hockey

The development of individual capacities, the respect for the opponent and the rules, the solidarity between partners and the team spirit are some of the values that are in play in this Learning Area .

Institutional Objectives:
Train a Student

1.- Adapted, balanced, open mind andy respectful.
2. - Conscious of the value and the reflective and shared construction of the knowledge
3.- A responsible citizen compromised with the Institution and with the demands that are presented to him.
4.- Shared in common and compromised with the current world.

Specific Objectives:
1.- To Integrate the Student to the Comunity through different activities, as well as the family.
2.- To educate our students in and for the Society.
3.- To Promote our quality as Associated School to the UNESCO in favor of a Culture of Peace.

4. - To foment learnings of development and personal growth based on the understanding and the reasoning.
5.- Crear un ambiente de comunidad gratificante para todos los actores involucrados en el Centro con los que compartimos nuestra labor.

5. - To create an environment of gratifying community for all the involved actors with whom we shared our work.

Actions:
1.- To Continue creating exchange spaces with the other Institutions of the Community.
2. - To organize days of mutual enrichment in all the Educative Community.
3. - The personal values will be permanently present.
4.- Promote to the maximum the emotional and cognitive capacity of our students, having as a strength that are small groups.
5.- All we are in the same Ship because we are moved by the same Interests and we follow the same Objectives.
